F.A.Q'S

Q: How much money do I have to find up front before I can move into the property?
A: You would normally be expected to pay a full month's rent in advance plus a dilapidation deposit. In addition you will be asked to pay a fee to cover the preparation of tenancy agreements and for tenant referencing.

Q: Is interest payable on my damage deposit?
A: No. This is held in a non-interest bearing account and your tenancy agreement will stipulate that no interest is payable.

Q: Will my damage deposit be returned to me after I vacate the property?
A: Your deposit is fully protected under the Tenancy Deposit Scheme of which May and Co are a participating member. At the end of the tenancy your deposit will be refunded to you once the inventory has been checked.

Q: Are Council Tax and Water Rates included in the rent?
A: No - all our rents are quoted exclusive of outgoings.

Q: Are pets allowed in the property?
A: Acceptance of pets is entirely at the discretion of each individual landlord but generally speaking where properties have been freshly decorated or recently refurbished it is unlikely that pets would be accepted.
